Cathedral Scholas
The Scholas were developed over the last few years for choir members who want additional choral singing, and for people who cannot meet the demands and commitment of the Cathedral Choir but who are willing to keep the Scholas’ minimal schedule. The schedule can appeal to singers who can learn music quickly but who travel, have erratic work schedules and/or have family obligations. The Scholas each sing once a month, alternating Sundays with the Girls Chorus, at the Sunday 5:15pm Mass.
Women’s Schola
Women’s Schola sings the second Sunday of each month, year-round with the exception of Mother’s Day. The few and infrequent rehearsals are 60 minutes on Wednesday evening, scheduled about eight times per year. The Women’s Schola rehearses one hour before each scheduled Liturgy (4:15pm) in the Music Room. Repertoire (two to five parts) reflects that of the Cathedral Choir.

Men’s Schola
Men’s Schola sings the fourth Sunday of each month, year-round. The few and infrequent rehearsals are 60 minutes on Wednesday evening, scheduled about eight times per year. The Men’s Schola rehearses one hour before each scheduled Liturgy (4:15pm) in the Music Room.
